We were bad parents and caved in and gave him the bottle at the end of this month because it was the only thing to make him happy. We honestly had to for our sanity.
We were waking up at 11:30 pm, 2:30 am and 5:00 am, every single night. One night Ellis woke up crying and I told Brad, it better not be 2:30!! It was 2:37 am, like clockwork!
We were giving him so much juice because it was the only thing he wanted after he didn't get his bottles which in turn filled him up with too much liquid calories so he didn't want to eat food. We got in trouble with another pediatrician in our practice that saw Ellis at a sick visit when she found out that he was not drinking hardly any milk and only juice. Then our pediatrician said he should only be getting about 4 ounces a day. I'm not even going to tell you how much E was drinking!!
Just wanted to document that 14 months was tough for us, but now we are through the 14th month and into the 15th!!
