Brad and I actually made it out of our house a few minutes after 8 am on Saturday morning. Brad's parents had come up the night before and were on Ellis duty this weekend. We made it to Ttown and hung out and watched the rest of Game Day with our good friend Rob. After Game Day, we walked around the Quad and ended up spotting two families from Brewton. We hung out at one tailgate and two Yellow Hammers later we were good to go. :) We decided to keep walking around the Quad and we found some more friends! After the Quad we had to get Big Bad Wolf Nachos and hung out some more at Rob's apartment off the Strip (how awesome is that?!) with some more Brewton folks. About 45 minutes before kick off we walked to the stadium and pretty much geeked out when riding the elevator up to the boxes. It was AWESOME!!! The boxes have a private bathroom, seats, Eli Gold blaring, the game on separate TVs, a refrigerator stocked with drinks of all kinds, food, etc. At halftime they brought in pizza and stadium dogs and peach cobbler. There was an ice cream cooler outside with various ice cream bars. It is the way to roll.
We had actually planned on staying in Tuscaloosa but after the game we decided to make a break for it. Seemed like a good idea to go ahead and leave around 12:30 am (we had hung out some more at Rob's apt) and at 2:25 we were just in Cottondale. There was a three car wreck - fun times. We were actually awake during the time change. I think we made it back sometime after 3 am at which point it felt like not a good idea to drive back but when we woke up this morning at 11 am, I think we made the right decision.
Anyways, enjoy the pics, it will be a day/game/experience we'll remember forever!

The view - we stood more on the left side of the box, but I would say the box on a whole was probably on the 45 yard line.
Bryant Denny was packed out!!
The right side of the box, how awesome is this seating?!
