Meet Blue

Introducing our newest family member...Blue the Beta!! Ellis' teacher at school brought her Beta to school and the kids have been obsessed with the fish. Every morning Ellis points and says 'fish' and he loves to wave hi and bye. One night after two margaritas we went to Pet Smart and got Ellis his very own fish. He picked out our blue beta (score, he picked out a $3.99 one) and Brad got to pick out the tank. $89 later Blue has a nice filtered tank with a light, filters, fish food, plants, rocks and a home. Ellis also named Blue, I told him that his fish was blue and he said 'Blue.' I'm guessing Blue probably won't live the typical 2 years...we will see! Cheers to Blue!!
