May Beach Trip

In May we went on our annual beach trip. The weather was beautiful and a few days we had perfectly clear glassy water...unfortunately Ellis was not a huge fan this trip. The sand on his feet, the sound of the wind, the crash of the waves...all these things bothered him. We tried to find ways so he could relax and still have fun and he did! He just wasn't going to run to the ocean and put his toes in the water. After a disastrous dolphin cruise, poor kid isn't getting in a boat anytime soon! We enjoyed being able to get away and relax (although relaxing with a 2 1/2 year old is not the same as relaxing without responsibilities), but we loved our family time together!
