As we will be in the happiest place on earth for E's actual bday, we had cake and opened some presents this afternoon. I had ambitious plans for E's bday but due to all of our sicknesses and our upcoming trip my plans sputtered out. But on the plus side I had decorations and party favors so we really only needed a cake for today!
Ellis was so excited to see our table decorated and couldn't wait to tear into his cake!! We had a Woody themed bday, mainly just cow print and red bandanas for our little cowboy's day!
Ellis was so cute blowing out his candles and since it was just us we did it three times. :)
Ellis got some pjs (Elmo and Mickey), a Winnie the Pooh DVD and bubble set, a shopping cart with an attached cozy coupe and some 'groceries' from me and Brad. He received a Radio Flyer scooter and Spider-Man helmet from his Mimi and Granddaddy, as well as his favorite gift, a remote controlled Thomas the Train! Ellis with his remote reminded me of Brad and all of his remotes!
My parents were up babysitting so they were here for the mini party, Elmo came over, as did Mickey and his Daddy, Graham and his mommy and daddy, and Rob. A pretty good turnout for 20 minutes notice! :)
Ellis had a great day and weekend and actually cried when his Mimi and Granddaddy drove away. :( Happy Early Birthday to our sweet little man, surely one of the most entertaining two year olds around!!
