2nd Honeymoon

Who knew the Alabama Bar Conference down in Point Clear, Alabama, at The Grand Hotel would be like a second honeymoon for us?! Brad received a huge surprise when he checked into his room (which was booked by his work) on Wednesday. He had a Honeymoon Suite in the Spa building all to himself! The room (which by the way was nicer than our actual honeymoon room) was wonderful: great views of the property, huge living space, fresh flowers, killer master bath and totally free!! I was able to go down to Point Clear on Thursday night after work and a brief interstate exchange of the dog with my sweet parents. We really did have a great time down there hanging out with Brad's parents who attended the same conference, and we even saw Birmingham friends, Emily and Oscar! We capped off the weekend by watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, it was a great long weekend for us!!
